Community Donations

The seventh cooperative principle is all about concern for our community and finding ways to give back.  One of the many ways DNF strives to serve Durango and our region is through our Donations Program. Each month we donate money, food and time to numerous local non-profits and organizations. The following is a list of our recent donations:

A.D.A.B.I., Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado, Planned Parenthood Rock Mountains, The Good Food Collective, Lisa Parker's Puppies, Manna Soup Kitchen, Cooking Matters, The Garden Project, Green Man Festival, The Living Yoga Project, Durango Dharma Center, Rainbow Youth Center, Durango Nature Studies, Annie's Orphans, Thrive!, Durango Arts Center, Week of The Young Child, FLC Water Justice Project, Three Springs 5 & 10K, San Juan Citizens Alliance, Turtle Lake Refuge, Black Mesa Support Caravan, Great Old Broads for the Wilderness, Kiwanis Club, LPC Humane Society, Growing Partners of SW CO, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Rocky Mountain Wild, Tour De Farms, Inspire Chiropractic, Tiospaye Leadership Fund, KSUT, KDUR and many more.

Round-Up at the Register

In addition to our Community Donations Program, we also organize “round-up” donations quarterly, in which customers are encouraged to round their total up to the nearest dollar in order to donate to highlighted events and organizations.  If you’re interested in having your organization or event receive a round-up donation, please contact us at outreach@durangonaturalfoods.coop

Help Feed Those In Need

Help Feed Those In Need poster.png

The Help Feed Those In Need program has been wildly successful since its inception in December 2016. Your donations directly donate food to the La Plata Family Center, Companeros, and Four Corners Mutual Aid Network.

Thank you to all our shoppers who have shown support and generosity to this program and our community resilience.
